Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met for bilateral talks at the Hyderabad House in New Delhi on Monday.

The Russian leader noted the increasing military cooperation between Moscow and New Delhi.

“We cooperate greatly in the military and technical sphere like no other country. I mean that together we develop high-tech military products as well as produce them in India,” he said.

Prime Minister Modi echoed the sentiments and said defence cooperation “is being strengthened through joint development and co-production under the ‘Made in India’ program, and cooperation in space and civil nuclear energy is also expanding.”

Putin arrived in New Delhi on Monday for talks with Modi as part of the 21st annual India-Russia summit.
