SpaceX’s Crew Dragon Endeavour was relocated to the International Space Station on Wednesday, against the spectacular views of planet earth as seen from the station.

NASA astronauts Shane Kimbrough and   Megan McArthur, Akihiko  Hoshide from Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and Thomas  Pesquet from European Space Agency moved the capsule to the space-facing port of the ISS’s Harmony module. The manoeuvre took 47 minutes, says the statement of NASA.

According to NASA, the objective of the mission was to free up space for Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner spacecraft, the arrival of which is planned for July 30. It will be the first time when two different U.S. commercial spacecraft will be simultaneously docked to the ISS.

The ISS Expedition 65 crew arrived at the space station aboard a Crew Dragon spacecraft at the end of April and will remain there for a duration of six months.
