Italy: Rome professor Giorgio Parisi celebrates Nobel Prize award in physics

Italian professor Giorgio Parisi of Rome’s La Sapienza University has been awarded the Nobel Prize in physics, and was seen celebrating in the university on Tuesday.
The 73-year-old Quantum Theories professor joined Germany’s Klaus Hasselmann and the USA’s Syukuro Manabein in winning the Nobel Prize for his research on complex systems.
Parisi’s achievement makes him the 21st Italian to have won the Nobel Prize.
