Two girls were seen escaping an unruly crowd in Piazza Duomo, Milan on New Year’s Eve, as footage published on Friday shows.

The victims of the harassment were seen pushed against a barrier before managing to escape to safety with police officers at the scene.

The two girls were described as being panicked and in tears when they reached the police.
