Rescuers rushed to the scene of a road accident in to save the lives of both the motorcyclist and a baby elephant involved in a collision.

The young pachyderm was in a bad way when paramedics reached the scene, but made a full recovery after it received chest compressions.

He was left at the scene of the crash where he was later reunited with his mother and the rest of the herd.
