Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp has dropped his lawsuit against Atlanta’s city government over its proposed mask regulations. In an apparent reversal, he’s signed an executive order allowing local governments to set their own mask mandates. Critics say that the order doesn’t do enough to hold businesses and individuals to account if they ignore public-health guidelines. Georgia continues to have some of the highest rates of COVID-19 infection in the US. RT America’s John Huddy reports for the News with Rick Sanchez.
