Comedian Joe Lycett has shred £10,000 of his own money after David Beckham neither acknowledged nor responded to his ultimatum.

Lycett had demanded that Beckham step away from his controversial multimillion-pound World Cup promotion deal with Qatar and had said he would donate the money to LGBTQ+ charities if the sports star ended the sponsorship deal ahead of the tournament.
