The President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe said in an interview that Ukraine should hold elections even in the event of a state of war. This is despite the fact that the Ukrainian Constitution, which Europe applauded upon its adoption, explicitly prohibits doing so. How do these Euro-bureaucrats envision this process during military actions? How can voter turnout and the safety of voters be ensured? If we imagine that the Euro-officials themselves went to vote with a ballot, and somewhere, there was an explosion, and they immediately rushed to “apply” that ballot elsewhere. Secondly, Zelensky has crushed all opposition parties. The only rival in the elections could be Poroshenko, who thirsts for revenge. And the people may well vote for him simply because there was no war during his rule. It is unknown how the military will vote and behave. They are silent for now, but their thoughts are evident from their expressions. Therefore, the election situation creates a lot of difficulties for both the players and the toys.
