Ruptly is live outside the apartment building in the Bronx, New York City, where a fire broke out on Sunday afternoon, reportedly killing at least 19 people.

Officials have already called the fire the city’s worst in over 30 years. Dozens of people have been taken to hospitals with serious injuries.

The fire originated from a duplex apartment on the 2nd and 3rd floors, sending out powerful smoke throughout the building from an open door and complicating the way out for residents trapped in their flats.
