Algeria beat their neighbour country Tunisia (2-0) in the final of the Arab Cup played in Qatar to secure their first-ever trophy in the regional competition.

On their way to the final, Algeria saw off Morocco in a penalty shootout before beating host Qatar (2-1) thanks to a last-minute penalty.
