Ruptly is live from Tehran on Thursday, January 6 as a Funeral procession is being held for 150 newly found bodies of Iranian war dead.
Mourners are expected to gather in front of the University of Tehran before marching towards the Behset-e-Zahra cemetery. Similar events will be held in other cities across the country as well.
The funeral is taking place on the same week as the second anniversary of General Qassem Soleimani’s assassination and is also coinciding with the anniversary of the death of Fatimah bint Muhammad, the youngest daughter of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad.
