LIVE: Guterres attends 5th anniversary commemoration of Colombia’s peace deal

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is set to take part in a commemorative event at the Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP) headquarters in Bogota on Wednesday, November 24.
The event is dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the signing of the 2016 Peace Agreement between the Government of Colombia and Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) guerrillas.
The two signatories of the pact, former President of Colombia Juan Manuel Santos and former guerilla leader Rodrigo Londono, will be attending the event and addressing the audience. Santos was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2016 for his contribution towards a peaceful solution.
