A cargo spacecraft SpaceX CRS-24 carrying human muscle cells docks with ISS on Wednesday, December 22.

The cells will be used to study human ageing and the reasons for why human muscles get weaker with age. The commercial resupply flight is also delivering to space NASA protein crystal growth study which relates to cancer treatment research and handheld bioprinter, which could potentially allow printing tissues directly over wounds.

The spacecraft is expected to spend about a month attached to the orbiting outpost before it returns to Earth with research and return cargo, splashing down off the coast of Florida.
