The longest partial lunar eclipse since the 15th Century, and the last of the year will be visible in Buenos Aires on Friday, November 19.
The partial lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth moves between the Sun and the Moon but the three celestial bodies do not form a straight line in space.
The last time an eclipse this long happened was February 18, 1440.
November’s full moon is traditional known as the Beaver Moon, as beavers are preparing for winter.
PLEASE NOTE: Visibility of the eclipse will depend on the weather conditions. Transmission may be cancelled in case of poor weather (rain, snow, storms).
