French President Emmanuel Macron is holding a press conference with Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani in Erbil on Sunday, August 29.

Macron visited Kurdistan and met with Kurdish top officials following a visit to Baghdad for the Regional Security Conference.

Later in the day, President Macron will head to Mosul where he will meet with local students and “influencers” and visit religious sites.
