The first part of the closing plenary of the COP26 summit, chaired by President Alok Sharma, is set to take place in Glasgow on Thursday, November 11. 

After two consecutive weeks of events, the Glasgow climate summit is due to end on Friday, November 12.

According to COP 26 President Alok Sharma, the first part of the closing plenary will adopt decisions that parties have already made formally, with ministers set to convene tomorrow for the purpose of resolving the remaining issues.
