LIVE: UN Security Council discusses the Middle East and Palestine

The UN Security Council is holding its 8913th meeting in New York on Tuesday, November 30, to discuss the situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian question. The Security Council is also expected to hold closed-door discussions on Syria.

Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Tor Wennesland is expected to brief in person. This will be his first briefing in the Security Council chamber since taking up his appointment in January.
