Ruptly is live with a view of the Port of Felixstowe on Wednesday, October 13, as the high volume of incoming cargo forces authorities to have to turn some ships away.

The congestion, which eased during the summer period, has now intensified again with just 10 weeks until Christmas, as more goods are imported for sale during the holiday period.

The delays in unloading ships are reportedly partially due to the acute shortage of HGV drivers in the UK.
