White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki will hold a press briefing in Washington on Wednesday, February 16.

The briefing comes a day after US President Joe Biden said that an invasion by Russia of Ukraine ‘will prove to be a self-inflicted wound.’

Later on the same day, Psaki outlined that ‘all options are on the table’ to stabilise energy costs should Russia invade Ukraine, prompting Western counties to implement strict sanctions.
