‘London Explosion Kills Girl Whilst Three Others Fight for Their Lives’

An explosion in south London has claimed the life of a young girl, whilst three further people are being treated for life-threatening injuries in hospital.

The explosion happened in the early hours in a residential area in Thornton Heath, and neighbours came out in pyjamas to investigate what one claimed she thought was an “earthquake”.

The victim has not yet been identified.
