A Long March-2D launch vehicle launched 41 satellites (Jilin-1 GF06A01-30, Jilin-1 GF03D19-26, HEGS–1 and Jilin-1 PT02A01/02) from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, Shanxi Province, China, on 15 June 2023, at 05:30 UTC (13:30 local time). According to official sources, “the 41 satellites are all sub-meter high-resolution remote sensing satellites which are designed and manufactured by Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co.,Ltd, which are used to obtain high-resolution remote sensing image of Earth observation，provide remote sensing information services such as situation analysis, target monitoring, and regional census for users, and provide the remote sensing data services for territorial and mineral resources exploration， smart city construction and other industries.”
