A Long March-2D launch vehicle launched the Shiyan-20C satellite from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Gansu Province, China, on 29 October 2022, at 01:01 UTC (09:01 local time). According to official sources, Shiyan-20C (试验二十号C) was placed into the desired orbit and “will be mainly used for in-orbit verification of new technologies such as space environment monitoring”.
