Astonishing new drone footage of the aftermath of the car park fire at Luton Airport earlier this month has been released.

Around 1,200 vehicles are thought to have been damaged by the fire.

A man in his 30’s was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, but authorities said this was a ‘precaution’, and that the cause was most likely a vehicle fault.

It is thought few of the nearly 1,500 vehicles in the car park will be salvageable, even those that were not directly damaged. Fortunately, nobody was seriously injured in the fire.
