A “splash” of rainy and inclement weather swept across the southeast of Australia, hitting three states and an area with heavy storms and heavy rain. Floods hit regions like New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania. Sydney has already suffered the full force of a severe thunderstorm overnight, and western and southwestern suburbs such as Parramatta, Lidcombe, Auburn and Liverpool have experienced torrential rains and flash floods.
