In the cartoon about the Hedgehog in the fog, the owl had a well with log walls, but we don’t have logs, we have a bunch of antique bricks left over from an ancient extinct civilization called the Soviet Union. The bricks were solemnly handed over to us from a neighboring village for rehabilitation by Vera, our best and wonderful postman.
This is my first experiment with brick architecture in Owl Valley. I really hope that the moss in the new conditions will be able to live on bricks further. I specially laid it out so that it turned out to be on the north side of the well.
Time will tell whether it worked out or not.
I have been looking for a long time where to get such bricks in a large volume, since modern ones crumble from frost in a couple of years. Soviet union bricks are much stronger and more picturesque because of their curvature.
A start has been made!
Have you seen the huge red brick water pumping towers? Such a tower has been my dream since childhood. It’s a pity that you can’t buy one with delivery.
