A man broke into Speaker Pelosi’s house in an attempt to kill her with a hammer. He shouted “Where is Nancy?” upon entering. He only found Pelosi’s husband who he violently assaulted. He tried to tie up her husband and wait for the Speaker to come home. Paul Pelosi is currently undergoing brain surgery due to the attack. The attack has been widely condemned by Democratic politicians but as for Republicans… Let’s call it “mixed” with some even joking or being supportive of the assassination attempt. The attacker is a Conservative who believes that the election was stolen and supported the January 6th insurrection.
