‘Mariupol’s Resistance ‘CRUMBLES’ as Russians Claim Steelworks’

The bitter and bloody battle for control of the Azovstal steel plant on the outskirts of the besieged city of Mariupol is over after an 82-day assault.

Russian forces had been slowly closing in on the embattled steelworks, which had become a symbol of Ukrainian resistance as the war began to reach a stalemate.
