Corps of Exploration member Lily Kukui Gavagan is more than just a science manager in training; she is an ocean explorer and marine biology graduate from the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo where she studied ocean microbiology. In this video, Kukui talks about her experience sailing onboard E/V Nautilus as part of the science team and shares advice.
