‘Miami Apartment Block COLLAPSES Leaving More Than 50 Unaccounted For’

A huge rescue effort is underway in Miami Beach after a beachfront tower block partially collapsed.

Rescuers are combing the rubble for trapped survivors after the sea-view facade caved in.

It remains unclear how many people were in the building when it collapsed at around 2am.

At least one person has died and 51 others are unaccounted for after the collapse.

Search teams used a crane to evacuate residents in nearby apartments to safety.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said it had sent 80 vehicles and police are also in attendance.
