Missing tennis player Peng Shuai appeared as a guest at a youth sports event in Beijing, as seen in the footage released on Saturday by Chinese media.

The video briefly shows the young woman on stage being introduced to the audience of the tennis match and distributing autographs to the little fans.

The footage, however, has not dispelled concerns of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), whose chair Steve Simon said the video alone was ‘insufficient’ to prove that Shuai is safe and free.

Peng Shuai has not been seen in public since she accused the former Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli of sexual harassment in her social media post dated November 2.
