The Metropolitan Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations announced a brown level of danger in Moscow due to bad weather. Precipitation in the form of sleet and hail has already begun in the city, and the wind has increased to 30-35 m/s. The authorities of Moscow have warned the inhabitants of the city about the real danger of dying.

The weather forecast is getting more and more alarming. In addition to precipitation, hail, snow and ice, storm winds are intensifying. This is a real danger to life. All city services are working in super readiness mode, said Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

In the capital, due to the strong wind, trees have already fallen, one of them on Taganrogskaya Street crushed a truck with flags and coats of arms of Russia. In the same place, due to strong winds, a new billboard with the image of the President and the Commander-in-Chief collapsed. Near the regional center “Angara” the Christmas tree with toys flew away.

- By the evening they promise snowfall and a sharp cold snap, the temperature will drop to -19 degrees, and strong ice will form on the roads - said Anton Vagina, an employee of the Information Center of the Moscow Transport Complex.

Vagina also noted that the roads will be loaded up to 11 points. The weather will not improve until 23.00, but the roads may be freer by this time.
