My Biggest Fear is Gaining Weight | Training for Everest

My Biggest Fear is Gaining Weight | Training for EverestУ вашего броузера проблема в совместимости с HTML5

I have more fear about this than climbing Mount Everest… one thing I need to do, and I’ve been putting it off, is I need to gain weight. ???? So that I have a little more body fat on the mountain to keep me warm!

I know this might sound so stupid to some people ????

My past with food, body image and being underweight in my teens has set in a little fear.

I know what I need to do, yet even when I go to eat I start to think about what I will look like, feel like and get in my head…

Just wanted to be open, honest and vulnerable with you all. I feel even putting it out there will help ????????

The fear is that people will start judging me as I’m a fitness person, that I will not be comfortable in my skin and that I lose control!

Completely get that some people would be like this is awesome! ???? and I see that too.

So I’m deciding to embrace it fully after posting this and I know that for me to have the best shot on the mountain I have to gain weight and that’s OK!

Thank you for listening and supporting. Even if you might not understand how I feel, it’s from previous experience that I have a complex about this.

Haha and now I’m trying to justify! ????????‍♀️

Anyway I just wanted to be open, real and share my weight gain and some extra cushion journey with you!

So here is my before photo, let’s see what happens!

Love
Rebecca
