Netherlands: Flower power - floral floats exhibited at traditional parade in Zundert

Participants of the Bloemencorso (Flower Parade) exhibited their decorative floral floats on Monday as part of the traditional festival.
Each year volunteers from 20 neighbourhoods in the area create extravagant decorations using steel wire, cardboard and papier-mache - all topped off with dahlia flowers.
The event traditionally involves participants parading their works through the town which is also famous for being the birthplace of artist Vincent Van Gogh.
This year, however, the floats were exhibited in public space without the usual procession due to the COVID regulations.

In America they try to find something for the missing persons, so they can reach everyone from young age till old age or from rich to poor and they figure out the way to reach people by placing their faces on these milk packages.”
