Shocking new CCTV footage shows the moment a bomb which caused extensive damage in Nashville was detonated.

The bomb was hidden inside a campervan, however the area was evacuated before the blast.

The explosion shattered glass in buildings 500 metres away and smoke could be seen all over the city.

After investigating the scene and a residential property, the authorities identified the bomber.

An image from Google Maps showed the vehicle from the scene outside the property.

This, and forensic examination of DNA, placed Anthony Quinn Warner at the scene.

It is now believed that Warner died in the blast, which was intended as a suicide bombing.
