Northrop Grumman’s CRS-17 Cygnus spacecraft, dubbed “S.S. Piers Sellers”, was unberthed from Earth-facing port of the International Space Station’s Unity module and released by the Canadarm2 robotic arm on 28 June 2022, at 11:05 UTC (07:05 EDT). The NG-17 Cygnus Cargo Delivery Spacecraft is named in honor of the late NASA astronaut Piers Sellers.
