At least three people have been stabbed to death during a suspected terror attack in Nice.

Several others were injured during the spree inside the Notre Dame basilica in the city centre, amid unconfirmed reports that at least one of the victims had been beheaded.

Mayor of Nice Christian Estrosi said the attacker repeated “Allahu Akbar” as he was restrained after being shot by police.
