North Korea has blown up a key liaison building with the South as tensions continue to rise between the two countries.

The inter-Korean liaison office in Kaesong only opened in September 2018 to try and facilitate better communication.

The demolition is believed to have been ordered by Kim Jong-un’s younger sister, Kim Yo-jong.
