‘North Korea Flaunts UN Sanctions with HYPERSONIC Missile’

North Korea has conducted a hypersonic missile test marking the second in a week, according to state media.

Leader Kim Jong-un oversaw the launch from a small cabin alongside officials including his sister.

The missile successfully made a “corkscrew manoeuvring” before hitting its target in the sea some 1,000km off.

It follows a series of weapon tests in 2021, reportedly including a train-based ballistic missile and a long-range cruise missile.

The United Nations condemned the missile test urging North Korea to “comply fully with its international obligations”.
