Sony is not only playstation and other gadgets. Now Sony is entering the electric car market with two models at once.

Sony Mobility subsidiary will sell and manufacture Sony cars. To quickly design their electric vehicles, Sony teamed up with global auto brands such as ZF, Bosch and Continental.

In terms of length, the Crossover will be 4895mm in length. The Sony Vision S 02 is between Tesla Model X and Ford Mustang Mach I. Thanks to the heavy battery, the Crossover will weigh 2.47 Tons. Which is not enough.

Planned 2 electric motors of 200kv. One for each axle. But the maximum speed is not impressive 180km \ h.

But the sedan is already capable of accelerating to 240 km / h due to its lower weight and better aerodynamics. Acceleration to 100 for the sedan is declared 4.8 seconds. Crossover as usual will be a little slower.

Sony Mobility continues to actively look for partners to quickly mass-produce electric vehicles and launch them on sale as soon as possible.

However, in order to launch mass production, Sony will have to invest billions of dollars and establish work with suppliers not only in Japan but from the USA and Europe, and this is not so easy and fast.

By the end of the year, they plan to make several pre-sale cars for display at exhibitions and conferences.

The price is declared 122.000 dollars for a crossover. Which is already comparable to the Tesla Model X. The start of sales is planned for 2025.
