On a roll - Inventor creates world's first toilet paper warming device

Inventor Hasan Aydogan presented the prototype of an automatic toilet paper heating device, which he is trying to sell to hotels, restaurants and the general public, as seen in Stuttgart, on Thursday.

“I came up with the idea while I was in the bathroom. I had an experience, where I reached for a toilet paper that was on a radiator and used it. it was cold outside and it was an amazing feeling,” Aydogan explained. “I looked for patents or similar, and didn’t find anything similar or comparable - so I said to myself, I will build it.”

During a meeting with hotel manager Stephan Wichmann, a friend of Aydogan’s, the inventor demonstrated how the device worked.

“How the bathroom appears is very important and so you can of course give the guest a comfortable feeling and show that you deal with the issues,” said hotel manager Stephan Wichmann, who is interested in including the device in his establishment, anticipating positive feedback from customers.

So far, there has been a prototype of the toilet paper warmer, in which Aydogan has invested about €400 ($470). Now he is looking for investors and sanitary companies with which he can further promote his innovation in the hotel and catering industry.
