Mourners gathered to honour the death of Kashmiri leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani in Muzaffarabad on Thursday.
Geelani was the founder of the Kashmiri separatist party Tehreek-e-Hurriyat.
Mourners afterwards gathered for a demonstration calling for freedom from India.
Syed Ali Gailani, died at the age of 92 on Wednesday night, at his home in Srinagar, following a lengthy illness. He had been under house arrest for around 11 years.
