Vladimir Putin skated to glory in an annual ice hockey match to commemorate Russia’s victory over the Nazis in 1945.

The Russian President starred on the ice alongside Olympic champion Viacheslav Fetisov and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu in a gala match of the Night Hockey League in Sochi.

Putin was man of the match in his side’s victory over the amateur league team, scoring nine of the team’s 13 goals against their opponents.
