Qatar: Lebanese and Palestine leaders meet in Doha to discuss bilateral relations

Lebanese President Michel Aoun met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at the Sheraton hotel in Doha on Monday to discuss mutual interests between their nations.
The two greeted each other with open arms and can be seen discussing matters with other diplomats who were also present in the room. According to local reports, some of the matters discussed were the recent developments regarding Israel and the Lebanese economy.
“[It was a] warm, great meeting and we were waiting for it from a long time. Relations are kind and great between between the Palestinian and Lebanese people. I am proud of my relation with his excellency the President before he was elected. We discussed mutual and important matters in the Lebanese and Palestinian sides. Our goals are one and, God willing, we go to Lebanon to see what happens,” remarked Palestinian president Abbas after the meeting.
