Rand Paul claims he was ‘attacked’ by protesters while leaving RNC

Protesters gathered outside of the White House on the last night of the Republican National Convention on Thursday. Armed with horns and loud chants, hundreds tried to disrupt President Trump’s nomination acceptance speech. Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) found himself in the middle of the protest after he and his wife attempted to walk to their hotel. While many protesters were shouting “Say her name” in reference to Breonna Taylor, Sen. Paul has actually taken it a step further by introducing legislation in her honor.
