REFEED: Putin and Iran’s Raisi hold talks in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Iranian counterpart Seyed Ebrahim Raisi hold a bilateral meeting in Moscow on Wednesday, January 19.

The leaders are expected to discuss bilateral relations, including current state of the joint projects in trade and economy.

Topical regional and international issues with the focus on Iran’s nuclear programme are also expected to be on the agenda.

Raisi and Putin’s meeting is the first between the pair since Raisi assumed office in August 2021.
