Rescued wobbly dog is living the spoiled life

Nodder was born at a dog rescue to a mama Husky who had been found starving and pregnant on the streets of Southern California. His littermates, all contracted Canine herpes virus from their mom and the rescue spent a lot of money to save five of the eight, but Nodder’s brain was affected by the virus causing his cerebellum to be underdeveloped. 

Nodder’s cerebellar hypoplasia affects his balance and fine motor control, but does not cause any pain. And he’s expected to live a full, healthy, Husky life. Nodder or as we call him Floppy,  lives a fully active, spoiled dog life with his people and his pack. And we view his condition is just another part of him that makes him unique and special. And we are lucky to have him in our lives.
