Ruby Topaz does a cover of Led Zeppelin's I Can't Quit you and How Many More Times. This was done after my hand surgery, so there were no rehearsals for a while. Like Led Zeppelin live, we're going for the feel. Not perfect, just for fun, to get back in the groove. The only reason that I'm posting this incomplete video is that someone on The Gear Page's Line 6 Helix thread was lamenting that nobody was posting any Jimmy Page tones. I already had this done, so I figured I post it on The Gear Page. I'm using the Plexi model. In the past, on my Vetta, I used a Supro with a 12" Jensen and a Plexi, with a Tonebender fuzz. Watching Page, in the early days shows that, no matter what amp he used, it sounded like him. He used the Supro on the first album, but on that tour, he used solid state Transonic amps. he used Hiwatts at Royal Albert Hall and Plexis elsewhere. The sound is in your fingers AND your head. If you hear it in your head, you'll use what equipment you have to get that sound.
