An aircraft designer from Pyatigorsk, Alexander Begak, presented a unique transformer aircraft at the XV International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2021, on Sunday, at Zhukovsky airport, in the Moscow region.
The creator gifted one to the exhibition.
Alexander Begak can be seen driving his aircraft - the GreenFly-New ‘begaplane.’ This vehicle is both a car and an airplane, even a motor boat.
“This is an ecological mean of transport. It allows you to travel on electricity in the city. Due to this fact, you can easily charge it very quickly via household outlet, without using gas stations. It runs 100 kilometres. The device weighs about 80 kilograms,” - said the aircraft designer.
Alexander added that with a removable wing a begaplane is able to fly about 400 kilometres (248 miles) at a speed of 150 kilometres (93 miles) per hour. For take-off, the device needs an ordinary ground longer than 70 metres (229 feet).
The EVO ONE MAKS 15 presented to the MAKS-2021 salon has installed wings. In addition to an electronic engine, it is equipped with a gasoline engine for longer flights.
“The goal and idea was to create a unique aircraft. Can you imagine, this aircraft weighs only 108 kilograms, does not require certification or registration. You can install this wing on your home transport, for example on your electric car. Then fly 400 kilometres. We have the opportunity to use eco-transport not only for flights, but also for life,” said the inventor.
Moreover, Begak is working on other projects. Some of them will be able to conquer space. He plans to present them at future MAKSes.

You can connect a titanium parachute on D-shape buckles here, and fly with a parachute on it.”
SOT, Alexander Begak, Aircraft designer from Pyatigorsk (Russian): “You can put on a rigid wing in half an hour, like on a blue [aircraft], and fly 400 kilometres, it is possible to fly even more, but so far we have a calculation till 400. 400 kilometres at 150 kilometres per hour - it is very fast. The plane can take off from ground, from an ordinary field, more than 70 meters long. The maximum flight altitude, on a soft wing, as well as on a hard wing, is about four thousand meters.”
SOT, Alexander Begak, Aircraft designer from Pyatigorsk (Russian): “This device runs on a conventional gasoline engine, 33 horsepower, and electric motors move it along the ground. That is, it is the same car as GreenFly, only with a more powerful engine and gasoline.”

SOT, Alexander Begak, Aircraft designer from Pyatigorsk (Russian): “This is a transpolar aircraft. It is small - an UAV. A real aircraft will have a span of 35 meters, but the unique aerodynamic scheme that I have invented allows us to obtain quality 42 at this size, fly the altitude of 15 thousands of meters. However, a large plane can fly around the Earth without landing and refuelling. I hope that I will be able to implement this project too.”
