‘Russia Deploys THOUSANDS of Troops to Ukraine Border Sparking Global Concern’

A build-up of Russian troops near Ukraine’s borders has sparked international concern.

Russia has backed a separatist movement within Ukraine which has been fighting since 2014.

There are fears the seven-year conflict, which has claimed 14,000 lives, is about to escalate.

Russian officials said they have “no such plans” to intervene.

However, the concerns have prompted Ukraine to call on NATO and the West for help.

Kiev said two of its servicemen were killed on Monday and Tuesday on the frontline.

The US is aware of the Russian military movements, and has also expressed concerns.

Relations between President Joe Biden and Vladimir Putin have recently deteriorated, after Biden told reporters he thought his Russian counterpart was “a killer”.
