The 150th Motorized Rifle Division from the combined arms unit of the Southern Military District has completed its sniper training.

The event took place at the Kadamovsky training ground in the Rostov region. Footage was published by the Russian Defense Ministry on Wednesday.

According to the ministry, about 100 servicemen exerciced for a month, improving their skills in fire and tactical training.

The Defense Ministry added that the set of exercises began with a theoretical part. Snipers studied the characteristics of weapons and special equipment.

After that, participants proceeded to practice. Part of the exercises were conducted in the field at the training range where servicemen performed a set of training, combat tasks and test exercises.

The participants were trained to camouflage, classify targets, use observation, target devices, determine the distance to the target and open fire at maximum possible ranges in dark and light hours.
